About John

John Zedd is an accomplished residential real estate broker with over 20 years of experience. He holds the record for the highest priced sale in his Druid Hills subdivision, Durand Mill, where he is HOA President. Recently, John was chosen by the Dean of Emory College to represent him in the successful sale of his home, and purchase of a new one. Dedicated to his community, John has served on the boards of the Druid Hills Civic Association and the Metro Atlanta Red Cross, and he is the publisher of Druid Hills Magazine. Before becoming Intown Atlanta’s top Realtor, John served as CEO of Woodhall Corporation, a multi-family real estate firm with apartment communities throughout the Southeast.

John grew up in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating from Harvard College, then Michigan Law, John moved to Atlanta in 1996 while working for United Dominion Real Estate Investment Trust. After managing over 700 apartment units, building/renovating houses, and teaching a real estate course for Emory’s Continuing Education Program, John turned his attention to being a full-time real estate broker. Besides benefitting from his legal and construction background, John’s clients have access to his tremendous network of vendors and contractors.

John Zedd takes pride in helping his clients reach the closing table safely and successfully. When representing home sellers, it is meaningful for him when excellent negotiation and marketing help his clients get more than they expected for their house. Additionally, his years as an investor have given him a keen eye for value. So, when representing Buyers, his satisfaction comes when his clients find their dream home that is also an extraordinary investment.

John currently lives in metro Atlanta with his wife, three daughters, and dog Polo. When not selling or buying houses, John enjoys golf and songwriting.
